Karen’s Book Nook

I found this one, A Girl Named Zippy: Growing up in Mooreland, Indiana while browsing through the online audio books and the cover caught my eye. I’ve never read Haven Kimmel before so I’m giving it a try. This memoir is read by the author.

Lynne’s decided to change the start date for the challenge to May 1st instead of June 1st. (Sounds good to me!) She also set up a separate blog just for the challenge which can be found here.

I’m not sure what happened but I set up this Wordpress blog and new home for my Book Nook and encountered all kinds of errors when I deleted one page. So, since it was still quite empty I decided to just do a clean re-install and start fresh. I’ll be using the Now Reading plug-in (which I’m constantly calling Reading Now in error..hehe) It’ll keep track of all the books that I’m reading and allow me to link to others, join challenges and join the conversations. Meanwhile, I’m starting my April vacation and hope to get lots of reading in.
