Current Read: Riding Lessons

This is the first book that I’m reading for the Heard it Through the Grapevine Challenge. It’s Riding Lessons by Sara Gruen, the author of Water for Elephants (which I read this winter and enjoyed.)  It’s currently past due at the library and was a hold so I’m hoping to blow through it in record time so I can return it.

    I hope you enjoy this book, Karen. I liked it and have the sequel on my shelf waiting to be read.

    I just finished it and have ordered the sequel at the library. Honestly, Annemarie drove me nuts for most of the book and I couldn’t stand her (although I liked the book.. go figure) I think I’ll like the sequel Flying Changes better now that she’s got her head on straight!

    I felt the same way about Annemarie. The writing is good, though.
