Today was parent/teacher conference day at my school so I went in at Noon and got out at 7:30 today. It was great to just be able to relax before heading in to school. I got up later than a usual work day, had my coffee and breakfast then read on the couch curled up with my girls until it was time to get ready to go in.

I showed up at school an hour before it was open to parents and got some grading done then was able to work on an IEP between parents. I also was able to do some work on the Alternate Assessment Datafolio which unnerves me each year. Knowing that I don’t have to get up for work tomorrow due to the Veterans’ Day holiday has put a nice smile on my face and I’m feeling light and stressfree. Getting things accomplished and crossed off the To Do list REALLY makes me smile!

As soon as the  Biggest Loser is done I’m looking forward to finishing my book before turning off the light. Hopefully, it’ll be a nice, restful night’s sleep and the girlies will give me a break in the morning too.
