Season of Change
Whew! I made it :-). Patriots Training Camp finished last night and I’ve finally got the last of camp related content up…. without much time to spare either. I got the final camp reports up, the final camp podcast done, website update done, and the last of the pictures are posted (although not labeled yet.)
Right now, my computers are running really hot and I feel like I’m crawling out of my skin. My desktop weather icon says it’s 73 degrees outside but it’s so very hot in this corner with the electronics on and tower at my feet that I’m roasting over here. I’ve been having lots of trouble with this PC all week anyway so a vacation from it might be good (lest I throw it out the window!) (Don’t even get me started on the sndvol32, castblaster, and restore problems… grrrr)
Tomorrow is going to be nutsy… Pats preseason game at Gillette at 8:00 with a tailgate at 4:00. Looks like it will be “Parking Lot Roulette” as they’re changing everything around because of the construction.
I’ve also got to clean, do laundry, play Mommycab, pack, drop Bella off with her parents (will I survive??) and get ready for the tailgate in between the time that I get up and head out to Gille
tte…
Coming up is a week of relaxation, reading, and family time; perfect for recharging the batteries and making the transition from “Summer Life” to “Regular Life”. I’ll have to load up the ipod as there won’t be any syncing from the laptop (my itunes is on my desktop pc) and I’m hoping to walk alot and start trying out the running again since my back has healed.
It’ll come right down to the wire whether or not we’ll be bringing the boat as it’s still in the shop. The boys are sending good vibes that’s for sure. Me… I just hope for weather warm enough to park myself by the water with my books, ipod, and a cool drink. Don’t need much more than that…
